Reserves latest 30th September 2006

The Reserves travelled to the Arena this afternoon to face Brentwood Town and came away with a point in a 0-0 draw against a team who currently occupy second place.

Brentwood had the best moment of the match in the 85th minute, but a fine penalty save from Mark Parker kept Barking in the game. This result leaves the Blues in twelfth place.

On Tuesday the reserve side have a rare home game v Maldon Town 7.45pm kick off.

London Senior cup game aranged 29th September 2006

The home London Senior Cup first round tie at home to Hoddesdon Town has now been arranged for Tuesday October 31st kick-off 7:45pm.

Squad news 26th September 2006

Carl Bruce returned to action tonight as a extra time sub in tonight's Gordon Brasted Trophy tie against Burnham Ramblers.

Dean Neil has been released.

Jason Henry’s appearance against Burham was his 50th for the club.

Stansted league match rescheduled 25th September 2006

The Essex Senior League game against Stansted which was due to be played on September 16th has now been rescheduled for Tuesday November 28th kick off 7:45pm.

Thameside Trophy game rearranged 25th September 2006

The Essex Thameside Trophy first round tie away to Burnham Ramblers cannot now be played on October 31st as Burnham have a superseding fixture. This game has been e-arranged for Tuesday November 14th kick off 7:45pm.

Injury update 20th September 2006

Captain Carl Bruce is recovering from an injury which he has been carrying for a few games and hopes to be fit at least by our next league match.

Match rearrangements 13th September 2006

The Home League Cup Group A tie versus Beaumont Athletic which was due to be played on Tuesday 3rd October has been postponed. This game will now take place on Saturday 23rd September kick off 3pm.

The Reserve team match at home to Bowers and Pitsea due to be played on the same day will now have to be rescheduled.

The Essex Thameside Trophy first round tie away to Burnham Ramblers has been arranged for Tuesday October 31st kick off 7:45pm.

Player news 11th September 2006

Matty West is suffering from injury and we wish him a speedy recovery. Wayne Vaughan and Mark Doyle both missed Saturday’s match due to injury.

Congratulations and thanks to Darren Bennett who made his 50th appearance for us against Concord Rangers.

FA Cup update 3rd September 2006

Following yesterday's excellent  FA Cup win we will now be at home to Chelmsford City on 16th September. This therefore means our away game at Stansted on the same day has been postponed and will now be rescheduled. 

The Reserves who were also due to play on 16th September against Concord Rangers has also been postponed and will now be played later in the season. It is possible the Reserves will play an away game on this date.

New signing 3rd September 2006

Striker Bradley Jones has been signed from Redbridge. Bradley, formerly with Ilford featured in the starting line-up at Barton Rovers yesterday for the first time.
