Manager Steve Munday has re-signed midfielder Neil Matthews who played for us in season 2007-08 and striker Dave Armstrong, who was with us last season.

Jared Small and Abe Adejokun are both suspended for one game

Club physiotherapist Alan Richards reports that-

Craig Leader, who was injured during the Stansted in October, has a fractured ankle and is still in splints. He is expected to be out until at least Christmas
Mequel de Souza is in light training
Mark Steadman is still suffering from an ankle injury and is expected to be out until Christmas
Darren Quincroft has shin splints but should be training soon

Chris Clark is suspended for one game which will be next Saturday’s meeting with London APSA

Club physiotherapist Alan Richards reports that-

Mark Doyle is now fit
Craig Leader, who was injured during the Stansted match ,has a fractured ankle and is still in splints . He is expected to be out until at least Christmas
Mequel de Souza  strained a calf against Bethnal Green and was at training this week
Ruel Sandiford is fit and would have played on Saturday
Mark Steadman is still suffering from an ankle injury but has resumed light training. He was due to have an X-ray on November 9th

Baby congratulations 15th November 2009

The club wishes to send out sincerest congratulations to Craig 'Ducky' Greenwood upon the birth of his son Harley Nikki Greenwood last week.

Harley was born on November 6th and we understand that both mother and baby are doing fine.

Squad news 9th November 2009

Chris Clark is expected to be suspended for three games following his dismissal against Clapton. The games involved will depend on when notification is issued. Abraham Adejokun is now available for selection following the completion of his own three match suspension.

Reserves storm into final 4th November 2009

Barking’s super reserve team reached the final of the Brian Hitchings Memorial Trophy last night for the third successive year with an emphatic 5-1 semi final defeat of Grays Athletic Reserves. The scorers were Johnny OFFEI, Dawid BORANOWSKI and a thirty minute hat-trick from sub Chas LIDDIARD in his first senior reserve appearance.  Our opponents in the final will be Great Wakering Rovers. The Reserves are unbeaten in our last five games and have lost just one of our last seven with a goal difference of 17-10 and have scored nine goals in their last two games.

Reserves storm into final 4th November 2009

The Essex FA have requested that all of their member clubs hold a two minute silence prior to Saturday's matches.

This is a request we are more than happy to comply with therefore a silence will be held prior to Saturday's match with Eton Manor.

To quote Laurence Binyon "They grow not old as we that are left grow old, age shall not weary them or the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we shall remember them."

Suspension/Injury update 1st November 2009

Ricky Mackin is available again after serving his one game suspension
Abraham Adejokun will miss the Eton Manor game which will complete his three game suspension incurred due to the sending off in the Basildon FA Vase replay.
