Ladies open days a success 12th July 2005

Thanks to the Bridge House Trust Barking Ladies were able to hold two open days to encourage girls from the local area to participate in girl’s football.

Both sessions were well attended and Barking Ladies considered the days a great success.  The girls attending really seemed to enjoy themselves and many have already expressed an interest in continuing to train with us.

Commercial manager Debbie Moore said '”Attendance was around 40 girls per session which was great to see. With the help of the grant we will definitely be able to start a new Under 10’s team and looks highly likely we will add at least one other age group as well.  This is above our expectations and we are extremely pleased the open days went so well. “'

Girls/ Women can still come and try out for Barking Ladies as due to the popularity of the open days they are now holding training sessions for all age groups on Saturday mornings at 10am at Barking Football Club.  For more information contact Debbie Moore
