Cup draws latest 19th July 2004

Appropriately in our 125th year we have a historic sounding draw in the London Senior Cup which echoes the first ever Barking game for which the result is known. Following a first round bye we entertain Ilford in a second round tie due to be played by October 9th. The winners are at home to Bromley and the winners of that will play away in the fourth round to one of the following- Romford/Cockfosters/Waltham Abbey/ Civil Service/Thamesmead Town/Erith Town/Sporting Bengal United In the London Intermediate cup the Reserves have a second round tie on October 30th away to Canning Town or May and Baker with the winners at home to Enfield, Bridon Ropes, Kentish Town or Greenwich Borough.

The Club has announced another friendly against Mountnessing FC which will be played at Harold Wood FC on Monday July 26th kick off 6:45pm.

The Southern League today revealed the Blues opening fixtures for season 2004-05.

Ladies players wanted 10th July 2004
Barking Ladies first team are seeking players for the forthcoming 2004-05 season to play in the South East Combination League.
Southern League cup draw 8th July 2004

According to the Football Webpages Southern League forum the draw for the first round of the Southern League Cup has been made. The Blues have been drawn at home to Tilbury - matches are to be played in the week commencing 26th of October.
Cup draws 2nd July 2004

In today's FA Cup draw Barking have been drawn away in the preliminary round to Diss Town which will be played on Saturday 4th September and in the same stage of the FA Trophy we have been drawn at home to Fisher Athletic which will be played on Saturday 9th October.

Should we overcome Diss then our reward will be a another away tie to Heybridge Swifts and similarly if successful against Fisher we will be away to Leyton.
Barkingside date correction 2nd July 2004

The pre-season friendly away to Barkingside previously reported as being played on Tuesday July 27th is actually to be played on Wednesday July14th at the Bank of England ground in Loughton kick off 6:45pm.
