The Reserves’ were eliminated from the Essex Herts & Bordering Counties Combination Cup yesterday afternoon by local rivals Romford 4-1 After Extra Time at Rush Green.

Barking took the lead on 23 when Michael Thompson shot low into the net and Romford equalised on 58. Romford scored early in to extra time and with Barking going for the equaliser, Romford scored twice in the last two minutes to take them in to the semi final.

The club are pleased to announce the signing of Michael Lee from Concord Rangers. Michael is a wide player and is available for selection with immediate effect. .

Jamie Murat is injured and the extent of his absence is not yet known. Ryan Doyle and Troy Braham are unfortunately suffering long term injury. On a happy note we congratulate Darren and Mrs Bennett on the birth of a new son on Saturday.

The home Essex Thameside Trophy quarter-final against Billericay Town has been arranged for Thursday March 15th kick off 7:45pm.
The Gordon Brasted Semi Final at home to Barkingside postponed on Saturday will now be played on Tuesday 6th March. Kick-off 7.45pm. This means our away league fixture at Concord Rangers that night will now need to be rescheduled.
February 20th is confirmed for the Tooting and Mitcham - London Senior Cup Semi Final. Again this will kick off at 7.45pm. The original game a league visit to Stansted due to be held that night, has been rearranged for Tuesday 27th March 07.
This means the cancellation of the Reserves home game against Ilford Reserves on 20th February which will be rearranged for a later date.

During the second half of today's home win over Stansted Ryan Doyle fell heavily when challenging for a corner. Ryan was taken to hospital and has been found to have a broken collar bone which is likely to keep him out of action for the rest of the season.
