Final league position 29th April 2007

Following Saturday's final round of Essex Senior League matches, with both Burnham and Bowers wining means we have finished our first season in the ESL in sixth place.

Our record for the season was: P 30 W 16 D 7 L 7 F 65 A 43 Pts 55

Budden final venue switch 29th April 2007

Tuesday nights final of the Fred Budden trophy has been switched from Mayesbrook Park due to problems with the floodlights to East Thurrock United's ground Rookery Hill. The kick-off time remains unchanged at 7:45pm. 

Reserves make final 19th April 2007

Congratulations to Dave Ross and his Reserve side who on Tuesday evening reached the final of the Fred Budden Trophy with a 1-0 win over Brentwood Town at Mayesbrook Park. This will be only our second appearance in the final of this competition, the previous occasion was in season 1983-84 and on that occasion we were 3-0 winners over Basildon United.

 

The final will be played at Mayesbrook Park on Tuesday May 1st kick-off 7:45pm - Barking's opponents in the final will be East Thurrock United who they face the previous Saturday (April 28th) in their last league game of the season.
