 DEPARTURES
Russ Harley and Connor Halsey have been released. Russ made 16 appearances in total of which ten were this season (1 start and nine as substitute) and Connor two, both starts. Neither scored for the first team but goalkeeper Russ scored in a reserves friendly against our Under 18s (Hertfordshire). We thank them for all their efforts and wish them luck in their future football careers and life.
ARRIVAL
We are happy to welcome new signing Danny Rafis, ex Romford among others. Danny is the brother of our popular former goalkeeper Adam Rafis.
DEBUT
Lewis Payne made his debut for us on Tuesday versus Burnham Ramblers, coming on from the substitute’s bench.
GOALSCORERS
Ben Jones’s goal against Burnham Ramblers makes him joint leading scorer this season with Chas Liddiard. Each has scored twelve times.
SUSPENSION
Following his dismissal versus Beckenham Town Ben Jones will be suspended for a game –date to be advised.
INJURIES
Matt West is still recovering from his broken leg and Dan Mackin is suffering from an ankle injury sustained in last Saturday’s friendly away to Ilford.
FRIENDLY MATCH
In the absence of a fixture we played Ilford away in a friendly last Saturday. We drew 1-1 with Jon Mogege scoring for us from the penalty spot.
