We start this season with some new club officers following the retirement of chairman Gill Faherty and secretary John Faherty, who steered the club safely through a very difficult period.
First team coach Rob O'Brien has taken on the mantle of chairman and is leading by example in a very "hands on" manner. Our secretary is the very experienced Peter Ball and long serving supporter and voluntary club worker Ron Debenham is our president. Ron was already a life vice president and, together with his wife Maureen, is well known and liked at football grounds all over the south of England.
It should be mentioned that everybody at the club works on a voluntary basis.
Our men's first team is still in the very capable hands of manager Steve Munday, assisted by Rob O'Brien and Alan Dickens with Alan Richards as physiotherapist while Jeff Sears continues his successful role as reserves manager. Our reserves will play in the new Essex Senior League Reserve
Division
We are a fully integrated community club as our list of teams shows -
Men First team/Reserves
Women First team

A total of 12 teams
The men are first into action with a potentially challenging start. On Saturday we are at home to Stansted , who were champions in 2009/10 and only failed to retain their title last season due to inadvertently fielding an ineligible player. Then on Tuesday we visit reigning champions Enfield 1893, hoping to repeat last season's superb away victory.
In addition to contesting the Essex Senior League championship Stansted beat Enfield in last season's league cup final.
We are encouraged by the fact that all of the squad which finished last season so strongly are still with us.
Much voluntary hard work has been done at our ground by some of our club officers and supporters during the summer and is continuing. The playing surface has been complimented by our pre season opponents and a new, small clubhouse is under construction by adapting an existing redundant building.
