 We would like to welcome new signing Jamie Pooley who joined us from Ilford last week and made his debut during yesterday's game with Eton Manor replacing Ricky Mackin late in the game and displaying some nice touches in the process.
On the injury front there was also better news for Ben Turner who has been suffering from a leg injury sustained following a horrendous "challenge" at Basildon on March 6th - Ben was a unused sub in yesterday's game.
Not such good news for two other players - Scott Walsh confirmed yesterday that the ankle injury he picked up playing in a Sunday cup match has not cleared up sufficiently for him to play again this season. We would like to thank Scott for his efforts as both player and captain this season and look forward to seeing him our colours next season. Also, Joe Tungate (right) is currently suffering from a knee injury which may require specialist assessment.
