 Today the draws were made for the opening rounds of the FA Cup, FA Vase and FA Youth cup. Our matches are as follows:
FA Vase
In the first qualifying round we are home to Crawley Green FC, which will take place on Saturday September 10th. If successful then we will be at home to Potton United in the second qualifying round on September 24th and further home match awaits the winners against Royston Town on Saturday the 22nd of October in the first round proper.
FA Cup
In the FA Cup as last season we will enter the competition at the extra preliminary round stage with a tough tie away to ESL rivals Burnham Ramblers on Saturday August 20th.
Should we overcome Burnham then as with the vase we will be at home, against either Barkingside or Hertford Town in the preliminary qualifying round. Further success brings another home tie against either Great Wakering Rovers/Oxhey Jets or Wodson Park
FA Youth Cup
Our Under 18's start their campaign in the preliminary round with an away match against their counterparts from East Thurrock United. The tie will take place the week commencing September 5th. The winners will entertain Kings Langley in the first qualifying round (w/c September 19th) with an away trip to either Billericay Town/Royston Town or Bowers & Pitsea in the second qualifying round (w/c October 3rd)
Essex Senior League cup
This season the ESL league cup has reverted to a straight knock-out competition - in the first round we will be at home to Southend Manor on a date to be confirmed.
