 The club were shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden death of our former popular player Victor Omogbehin, tragically still in his early twenties. Victor made his first appearance as a substitute against Brimsdown Rovers on November 21st 2006 and his last appearance was on April 26th 2008 in a end of season draw against Basildon United.

Victor won much admiration and respect with both his skilful play and his quietly modest unassuming nature and was the supporters player of the year runner-up for 2007/8. Victor left us to play at a higher level for Ilford and this season had signed for Waltham Forest. We played Mauritius Sports Association last evening and the game was preceded by a silent tribute. A collection was taken which raised £87 for a floral tribute and for Victor’s family.
Victor was a very well known and popular figure in local football and will be greatly missed.
