 Hearty congratulations to our Under 18’s side on a magnificent 3-2 victory in the FA Youth Cup preliminary round against Staines Town last night at Mayesbrook Park. Staines first team play in the Blue Square Bet South league at level two which is three divisions above us.
Our goal scoring heroes were John BUNDOCK to put us one up Jay SIMMONS in the second half for a 2-0 lead then AJ HAASTRUP made it 3-1 before Staines reduced the deficit to 3-2 in the final minute.
In the first qualifying round we are home to Northwood who beat North Greenford United 5-0 which has will be on Wednesday 22nd of September and the winners of that in the second qualifying round will entertain Clapton.
