The Reserves played two friendlies away to Old Barkabbeyans on Saturday. Old Barkabbeyans are the old boys of Barking Abbey School and play at intermediate level in the Essex Business Houses League

A good exercise for all, all players got 90 minutess under their belt. This helps with topping up the fitness & breaking down the opponents in match situations after all the training we have been doing in all sorts of conditions. I know the lads enjoyed it & our hosts certainly did they would like another chance to play us and I’m sure it would be another good test.
Before you ask, yes that was me playing for the yellow team. Overlapping Right back still got it!!! Or never had it!!
