Dan clocks up a ton - Tuesday January 10th 2012

Tonight’s London Senior cup tie with Hendon saw the the 100th appearance of Dan Mackin in Barking colours.

Prior to the game club president Ron Debenham presented Dan (pictured right) with a silver salver to mark the occasion.

Dan's first appearance was as a substitute against Buckingham Town in the FA Vase on Saturday September 5th 2009 - Dan replaced his brother Garry in the 87th minute. Since then has been a consistent performer for us

Dan’s full record up to and including today is:

2009/10 - Appearances 40 Goals 1
2010/11 - Appearances 28 Goals 0
2011/12 - Appearances 32 Goals 0

Total - Appearances 100 Goals 1

Dan is now the fourth member of the current squad to make a century of appearances for the Blues, Craig Greenwood, Sam Dennis and Chris Clark are the others.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Dan as we are very grateful for all his strenuous efforts on our behalf.

Here's to many more appearances
