February 23rd - Enfield errors cost dear

Positives to take from this but that's not helping the cause, we need to win and soon as our league position is getting desperate. We all know we've improved but without points in the bag it comes to nothing. Points literally slipped through our fingers here, were in control up to the break, Enfield were frustrated and there for the taking.

Disappointingly it was as good as it got, Doyley rattles the bar at one end, a few seconds later we're behind and chasing the game. Mark knows he's at fault, he doesn't need reminding. Minutes later we're two down, for me the penalties a 'no brainer' and naive defending at its worst, we've worked at dealing with that situation in training so there's no excuse and it cost us. Even the third goal, not enough pressure on the ball as the move developed, we must engage and get tighter in the final third or we'll continue to leak goals.

Did make a late rally but for me that's a smokescreen , a very poor second half performance and we got what we deserved. Expect a reaction Tuesday, this is a must win game and the lads need to get more ruthless, wasn't enough upset people in the changing room Saturday for my liking, will be a test of character and resolve but the team more than capable of springing a shock-now's the time to do it.
