No further results have been found, and therefore it is assumed that the club disbanded soon after this match for reasons unknown.
Between 1891 and 1894 no senior football took place in the Barking area. However, a large number of Junior Teams did play - some of these were:
Barking Swifts, Barking Working Mens Institute, Barking Ramblers, Barking Orient, Barking Melrose, Barking Loxford, Barking Rangers, Barking Excelsior, Barking Abbey Swifts, Barking Victorias, Barking Saint Paul's, Barking Ferndale.
At this time, a team which would later develop into Barking's next senior team, Barking Woodville, were playing in West Ham. Their name at this time was simply Woodville. They played in Senior competitions such as the Essex Senior Cup, which they won in season 1893/94 beating Braintree Gordon by 5-1.
Barking Excelsior won the Junior version of the Essex Senior Cup by beating Saffron Waldon by 3-0 in season 1894/95.
